About us:
We are a private pool nestled in the outskirts of Bristol. Our small, hardworking team are passionate about swimming and teaching children. The pool offers people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to swim in a warm, comfortable and private setting. We offer a wide range of services at our pool and due to customer demand, we are looking to further expand our offering with the introduction of Splash Playgroup – a weekly meetup session for parents and babies to come along, help build babies’ confidence in the water and allow parents to meet other parents and support social interactions for little ones.
Job description:
As a splash playgroup assistant your responsibilities will include:
· Setting up and packing away equipment before and after sessions
· Overseeing parents and babies in the pool either by being in the water or poolside
· Offering out toys and floats to customers in the water
· Encourage social interactions between parents and babies
· Initiate games and sing-a-longs
· Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications:
We are looking for a friendly candidate with the following qualifications:
· Driving License with access to vehicle
· Valid DBS certificate plus attendance to Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport course within the last 3 years
· Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification or International equivalent
· Level 2 Baby Pre School Teaching certificate preferred but not essential
· A current lifesaving qualification, such as NRASTC or equivalent
